I recently spent three nights at Jianguo Hotel and found it to be a decent stay overall. The location is fantastic as it's right in the CBD area with easy access to the subway and shopping, which is a big plus for me. However, I did notice that some rooms could use a bit of renovation and the service wasn't consistently up to the standard I'd expect for a four-star hotel. Despite these issues, the value for money is still reasonable, and I would recommend it for those looking for affordable accommodations.

My stay at Jianguo Hotel was a blend of nostalgia and disappointment. The convenient location close to the metro was a strong point, especially since I grew up here, but the room left much to be desired.
